Resin is tough and durable..but small scratches are possible just like other plastics can mark with everyday use. Do your best to remove your item from situations where abrasive materials will be used (including cream cleansers) and do not wear while using chemicals such as acetone or the like.
When cleaning use a soft cloth or sponge only (no rough scourers!) and soapy water to refresh. Coconut oil can be used to bring back a glossy shine; rub oil into the item with your hands and then wipe off excess with a fabric or paper towel and buff to a shine with a soft cloth.

Silver or Titanium Earring Hooks
1. Fill a bowl with warm water, then add a drop or 2 of mild dish liquid.
2. Soak the hooks (no need to separate from the resin drop) in the solution for about 5 minutes, and then gently rub the dirt off the pieces with a soft cloth.
3. After your jewelry is clean, rinse it with water and dry it with a clean towel (leaving titanium pieces to air dry may cause them to spot).
The Argentium 935 Silver used in the earring hooks can be polished with a jewellers silver polishing cloth to bring back lost shine. It is not recommended that you wear your earrings while swimming on a regular basis..being a un-soldered hook they may come loose and be lost, also if regularly swimming in salt/chlorine over time hooks may tarnish.
Although titanium is very durable, it is not completely scratch resistant. The wire used has a matte finish.
Replacement Earring Hooks
If your hook becomes bent beyond recognition, replacement hooks are available but must be fitted at the workshop – return postage will be at your expense, plus materials & service fee ($15/pair), return post for your item will be invoiced. Please email info@resartdesigns before sending.
You can also make an appointment via same email to bring your item to the studio for service if you are local to Resartdesigns.
